This serene mixed media image incorporates photography, digital art & photo collage. I noticed these buds on a walk and loved their fragility, shape & bold light green color. I collaged it against a sapphire blue background of earth and water elements to show the harmony, dependence & delicate balance that exists between earth and water that's necessary to nurture new life.

I make my art to capture memorable moments & ideas so they aren’t lost in time. There’s no one-word description for my genre; I call it mixed media photography-based digital art. I photograph anything that resonates with & inspires me. My digital photos are the starting point. Sometimes what I photograph represents just the seed of an idea or the outlines of a composition. My process includes using photo editing & digital art technology to transform and draw on the photograph to achieve my vision & goal for the finished piece. I aim to create striking images that elicit emotions & engage the imagination.
