Artist Statement : "Hex Series: Metal c0c0c0, cd7f33, eec900" explores the interplay of squares and color using acrylic sheets, metallic paper, and stainless steel. This piece delves into hex-based patterns and specific hex colors, guiding the viewer through an industrial yet vibrant spectrum. The metallic materials enhance the visual and experience. Squares within the hex pattern represent stability and simplicity, counterpointing the more dynamic hex pattern. This work invites appreciation for the beauty in patterns and squares. where mathematical precision meets artistic expression, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the often-overlooked beauty in patterns and colors that permeate our digital and physical landscapes. This piece is a testament to my fascination with how structured elements can evoke emotional responses and how simplicity can lead to complexity in perception.

Product of No Man
Lisa Trevino
$85.00
Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 1.5
Media: Digital Photography, iPhone photo
Artist Statement : I embrace the reality that I may see the world through a different lens. I am interested in relationships of color, form, and texture. Most of my works can be referenced from photographs taken on my iPhone. The images come from nature, an experience, happenstance, and on occasion, a fluke or a happy surprise. The technique that suits a particular image leads me to have a variety of ideas and options whether I retain the image as a photo or inspiration for a drawing, painting, or relief print. Approaching each piece of work as an experiment, frees me to explore the possibilities and to succeed or fail in the attempt. I continue to develop and create work in several disciplines. I enjoy the process of making art; the trial and error of exploring a particular idea, and allowing the viewer to invent their own interpretation of the work. I find interest in the way artist communicate through their art.

Spiky Buds
NLWalsh
$325.00
Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 1
Media: Mixed media: photography, digital art & photo collage
Artist Statement : This serene mixed media image incorporates photography, digital art & photo collage. I noticed these buds on a walk and loved their fragility, shape & bold light green color. I collaged it against a sapphire blue background of earth and water elements to show the harmony, dependence & delicate balance that exists between earth and water that's necessary to nurture new life. I make my art to capture memorable moments & ideas so they aren’t lost in time. There’s no one-word description for my genre; I call it mixed media photography-based digital art. I photograph anything that resonates with & inspires me. My digital photos are the starting point. Sometimes what I photograph represents just the seed of an idea or the outlines of a composition. My process includes using photo editing & digital art technology to transform and draw on the photograph to achieve my vision & goal for the finished piece. I aim to create striking images that elicit emotions & engage the imagination.
Cannibal 2
Anthony Zaza
$145.00
Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 0.05
Media: Watercolor and Applique
Artist Statement : This series of watercolors depict portraits of indigenous peoples still active all over the earth in places invisible to our modern eye but nevertheless actively participating in the modern world. And whom amongst us can say that their beliefs are any more vulgar and inhumane than our own social mores. We all have a cannibal in our midst who may devour us or others, leaving us in solitude. We are alone like the cannibal trying to discover our place in the world , seeking enlightenment, seeking redemption, escaping the stigma of death.
